If you want to be with someone who doesn’t want to be with you, do something radical. Instead of telling them (in your head, in the physical world, wherever, it doesn’t matter) that they should be with you, start telling them that you want them to be free and to be with whoever they want to be with and to do whatever they want to be doing.
But, wait, hang on a minute, I hear you say. That means that I don’t get what I want.
Ah, but you forget one little detail, you see. You forget that you are God, and to God nothing is impossible.
Now, being God, whatever you assume, you get to be right. If you assume that it’s not possible for both of you to get what you want, you’re right. If you assume that it’s possible, you’re right too.
Now don’t go and try to understand this with your rational mind. Our rational mind is far too limited to understand the enormity and wonder of all this.
Just go within and imagine yourself blissful and happy and having everything that YOU want, and imagine them blissful and happy and having everything that THEY want. Drop the conflict. Drop the impossibility of it all, and let yourself loose in this world where everything IS possible. And then watch what happens…
